Gorajec, Przemyśl i Rzeszów podzielą się pozytywną, zieloną energią!

W najbliższą sobotę, 17 marca, w Gorajcu odbędzie się Parada św. Patryka. Impreza pod hasłem „Zielono mi – czyli świętujemy Dzień św. Patryka” ma podkreślać coraz silniejsze więzi, jakie łączą mieszkańców wioski w gminie Cieszanów z „zieloną wyspą”.
Okazuje się, że 10 procent mieszkańców Gorajca to Irlandczycy albo ludzie, którzy przez wiele lat pracowali Irlandii. W tej niewielkiej podkarpackiej wiosce, leżącej w gminie Cieszanów, postanowiono więc uczcić Dzień św. Patryka – patrona Irlandii. 17 marca Gorajec przyłącza się więc do „zielonego szaleństwa”, będącego częścią światowej kampanii Global Greening. Obejmie ona również 19 miast w Polsce, gdzie w tym dniu na zielony swój kolor zmienią najbardziej charakterystyczne obiekty. Rzeszów w ten sposób ubarwi ratusz, Przemyśl most „Brama Przemyska”, Zamek Kazimierzowski i urząd miasta. Przez Gorajec w najbliższą sobotę, o godzinie 16 przejdzie uroczysta Parada św. Patryka. W planach są też podróżnicze opowieści o zielonej wyspie i kulinarne „podróże” po Irlandii, a także pokaz krótkometrażowych filmów irlandzkich.
